As I'm not sure wordpress tells you when I reply to a comment, I thought I'd come and sum up my replies.
Firstly, thank you for all your comments today. It's been wonderful to walk round the cottage and find a note under each cushion/vase/mug and the kettle.
As for chatting about metaphors over tea and cookies, I make some pretty decent oatcakes, and have messenger systems like MSN, AIM, Skype and Yahoo if you happen to use those.
Thanks again for your support and for signing my petition. It really means a lot to me.
