I was wondering the same thing... are you going to have a Thanksgiving kitten?

Sweet cat! So you're going to have kittens???

@all: ha! that idea did not even occur to me. i wonder what the owner is doing with the kittens - the pregnancy was clearly a surprise. no .. no kitten for me. i mean no kitten for atlas. ;)

you know, I was often leaping and jumping when I was pregnant. sigh. that seemed so much funnier in my head. *giggle, giggle*

I can imagine Atlas being very protective of her. He was probably barking telling her to get down from there.
In his doggy voice saying to her "You are pregnant, you should not be up there, you must look after yourself, you know"
and Tinkerbell would meow back " Hey, I pregnant not not incapacitated. I'm fine, really"

Are you sure about the no kiten for Atlas thing ? I just adopted a new 16 week old one from the animal rescue nearby. What a joy ! In spite of the sharp claws and the scratches I have sustained in the past two days ! We are both learning what hurts !

@jen t: it made me giggle. :)
@liss: no doubt! OH! here's a funny story .. atlas really just wants to sniff her, so once they became friends, as soon as he'd see her and sniff her, he'd be ready to move on. well -- once she became pregnant, he would not leave her. all he wanted to do is stand and hover over her, head right over her belly. he would do this for almost an hour (which is as long as i can last before i want to move on myself ;). it's like he was protecting her! so so sweet.
@kim: i'm iffy .. but it's not really due to atlas, it's due to me and what were once pretty bad allergies to cats. it's hard to believe that he might be healed for good now to try it ..

I have three pregnant friends who are going to be terribly jealous when I tell them this story.
