red (leaves).
yellow (leaves).
green (leaves).
blue (sky).
when i was growing up, we had these sets of plastic cups: red, yellow, green, blue. i'm sure i drove everyone nuts because i felt it was my duty to make sure they were always stacked in the same order in the cupboard: red on top, then yellow, then green, then blue on the bottom. i'm also sure that other people stacked them in the wrong order just to drive me nuts. and yes, i would always rearrange them.

Gorgeous and light! Love the bright and happy feeling of these leaves.

Actually, the first photo has all those colors in it, if you look closely :)
I have a set of vintage pyrex bowls in the primary colors, and they always go in the same order because otherwise they wouldn't "nest" properly.

Let me guess - your closet and drawers are very orderly and color-coordinated?? (just a wild guess) Love the leaves and sorry that they will be gone soon....

@patty: as a matter of fact, i do arrange the clothes in my closet by color. (which is not as easy as it sounds .. too many shades of colors.) how did you know. ;)
@maryann: oh! i always wondered why i picked that order. now i know.

My husband and I go through this on a daily basis with the kitchen cupboards, lol.

Are the leaves still that color out there? Lucky girl. :) We have many, many shades of brown.
We had similar cups growing up- I think they were Tupperware. My favorite color cup was green. Yep, I had a favorite!

what a weirdo! :) haha jk, i put them like that when i empty the dishwasher, but i wouldn't go in and rearrange them after the fact:) except our new ones have orange instead of red, so it just goes in place of red:)

Hee hee...I can relate. I arrange my books on my shelves according to colour. It makes them look a lot less cluttered in my tiny living space.

This is funny Elizabeth as we have a set of cups which are red, blue, white and pink and each one belongs to a person in the family. Both the kids ensure always that the right person has the right cup.
I haven't seen many photos of the Autumn colour this year. judging by your images it looks a perfect fall day.

This is hilarious. I am STILL like this. I think it's endearing. Don't ask my husband though. If he doesn't think so, I don't want to know.
