That s a great photo, Elizabeth! Last night hubby & I went to see the annual Christmas tree lighting on the town square... It always rains, but this year it didn't--hooray... LOL! Happy Week :o)

Love the perfect simplicity of this image. Sounds like it was a good time?!?!?

@marcie: alas, no. not fun at all. :(

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that, Elizabeth :( But now you won't be wasting your emotional energy feeling like you "should" go next year. (I went to a tree lighting in my hometown when I was about 19, and was disappointed, too. It was basically a big let's-get-shopping materialistic thing, with a huge tree, yes, but the tree had very little character -- and I hate crowds.)

But you're right, not all is lost, with this classy, elegant shot!

A trip is never wasted if you came home with 1 photo you like.

I am a fan these days of listening to my inner voice. Now you have just PROVEN you should listen to yours....lol

Next year, rent a movie and drink hot chocolate at home!! xo

At least now you know you weren't missing anything. Awesome shot!

@gilly: yes, my inner voice did tell me to stay home. i was wondering why i was so unmotivated to head there. doggone it.
