one of my dreams is to have a little grey cottage on the coast someday. whether i live there year-round or retreat to my cottage to rest and renew is still to be determined. ideally, i will be able to sit on my front porch and watch the waves.
this little dream of mine makes me so happy. partly because i know that i could take photos of the same stretch of coastline for years and years and years - and it would never ever grow old.
p.s. if you look closely, you can see my reflection in the bubbles.

Wonderful dreamy collection of soft color and textures. Excellent!

Yes, there you are in the bubbles...haha... These are especially dreamy images, Elizabeth. I hope your cottage and seaside dreams come true--and more! All my life I dreamed of living near the sea, any water really--being inland it was a great dream. My dream came true and I live a 10 minute walk from the coast...it is bliss and a blessing every day. :o)

I love the dream, and share it too! It would be fun to have such a place. The reflection is a little added bonus!

How about a cottage on the east coast? :)

I do so hope your dream comes true. Meanwhile, what a way to see your reflection, via your dreams and also in the many eyes of the foam left on the beach. Beautiful photos. I especially love the second one... it gave me space to breathe. (Hope you know what I mean.)

Aaaahhhh. I could handle a little cottage on the beach too, some day. Although I envision the shores of Lake Superior in the summer months, and maybe the Gulf shoreline in the winter months. Not so much a goal of mine, as just a whimsy. Your beach photos are always so great, Lib. Thanks for sharing!

@chrissy: you would be welcome anytime! (well, you are welcome anytime, even though i am not in my little grey cottage yet.)
@nora: lake superior used to figure in mine .. but then it was a little log cabin. i hope you have both someday. :)
@jen t: i was so happy when i realized it!
@amy: i figure you'll have one of those. ;)
@yvonne: i hope your dream comes true someday!
@elk: me too .. though it occurs to me that i wouldn't even need to own one .. i could just find one to rent periodically. that would be lovely too.
@tracy: oh, that is great! thank you for sharing that! i am so glad you have your home by the sea.
@marcie: thank you :)

Maybe we could all get cottages on the beach that are side by side. That would be fun. I love your dream, it's my dream too.

I would never have even noticed the reflections in the bubbles! That's amazing!!! Bubbles make me feel joyful however they come about [bubble bath, the bubble blowing kits, the ocean..]
Thanks for sharing.
