my attempt to capture 52 photos that represent joy - my word for 2010}
i bought a bunch of yellow gerbera daisies at the market last week and put them in a vase on the dining room table. you would not believe how much they brightened up this grey rainy week. even at night, i'd come downstairs and it was like they were shining out of the darkness at me.
pure joy.

Oh I so understand this. Yesterday, while resting at home trying to recover from a pesky cold, my friend appeared at my door with a box overflowing with branches of cherry blossoms. They are now in a big vase on my coffee table. They make me feel happy and loved.

I'm going to follow suit and buy some gerberas this week. They are my asbsolute favorite and like you they always brighten my mood!

I heart yellow flowers. Always. And I think I love your table too, judging from the tiny view of it in this photo. Now I want to go dig for those photos of your home you posted awhile ago so I can confirm!
