do you remember those animation things where you'd flip through the pages quickly and it would look like the figure was moving? pretend this is one of them.
atlas was given a new toy as a present - a bright green snake. first, he pulled out its tongues. then, he proceeded to pull out its insides. when he was done, the carpet was full of green. it was so bright and colorful.
i took about 100 photos (really). you would think that one of them would be in focus. sadly, you would be wrong.

Oh, but I like the "fuzzy" out of focus... it just goes with the flow here! Atlas really went to town on playing with that snake! You can almost hear a gggrrr... in that last photo--LOL! So sweet... :o) Happy Day, Elizabeth ((HUGS))

I love the way dogs can hold things with their front paws. Just imagine what they could do if they had thumbs.

Focus, shmocus - the essence of Atlas and his passion for his new toy comes through loud and clear! He is utterly and completely focused - probably didn't have a clue that you were even photographing him...

It's good to hear that Timmy isn't the only dog that pulls apart his stuffed toys! I love the perspective of the last image.

I love that what you have to say about the carpet being full of green is "it was so bright and colorful" - what a lovely, happy perspective! :)

My thought as I was looking at the first few was, "Oh, look. Atlas is holding and kissing a stuffed toy!" Heh. Funny! :D What a fun present to eat.

Snort!! But I can totally relate. I brought home two stuffed dinosaurs for my b-boys, fully expecting them to be shredded within minutes, but they are still in one piece, amazingly enough. I have such a hard time getting photos of them in focus - usually as soon as I pick up my camera they started moving at 100 mph. Fun photos, E!!

@margie, @marcie, @suvarna: thank you :)
@toni: good to know! maybe i should find a stuffed dinosaur. maybe they think they're real and don't want to mess with them!
@julie m: heeheehee .. kissing .. heeheehee
@josiane: it was pretty! come to think of it, i had a photo of it - i wonder where it went.
@kolleen: i'm so glad
@natalie: glad it made you smile!
@gayle: nope. he's definitely not alone!
@patty: ha. that made me laugh. there was no way to miss me - i kept saying, "atlas! atlas! atlas!" as i tried to get him to stop moving for a second so i could focus. ;)
@jerry: i know! for our sakes, it is probably a good thing they don't have them. ;)
@tracy: a very little grrrr. :)
