as one door closes, another door opens. today, my path is changing. i am following my heart, and it is leading me in a new direction.
earlier this week, i was wondering if i was starting to freak out. i was feeling really really sleepy and sometimes, when that sort of sleepiness hits, it's because i am avoiding feeling something "unpleasant". i sat with it in meditation for a while and then it hit me. i wasn't freaking out. i was feeling amazed and humbled and full of wonder: that i was really going through with following my heart, that it was important to me that i do what makes me happiest, that i was important enough to me to do so.
pure joy.
You are the most self-aware person I know. Most of the time, I don't understand my emotions like that until it's past tense. I'm so proud of you...for all of it.
