the nicest thing about living close to places like the ocean and the gorge is that i never feel like i have to make each visit "count". i can just enjoy my visit, in whatever way i want to enjoy it. even with that, it's sometimes still easy to focus so much on trying to capture the big things, that i forget to notice the small things. happily, last time, i remembered. (i am pretty sure i had never noticed the portland sign before.)
big things or small things, we all see things differently. that's why it's so much fun to see your world through your eyes.

Expecially love how you captured the leaves thru the sign. Very creative!!

Lovely series, Elizabeth. Love the bridge detail with the stream blurred behind it. :)

just lovely. it is a gorgeous world huh? i got so sad yesterday, feeling overwhelmed with the hard things that happen to the earth, things we do... so this is a welcome reminder. glad you're taking some time to be in you important transition. xoxo
