A big YES! to "making yourself something that feels slightly decadent makes an ordinary day (and you) feel extra-special"! Pure joy indeed. :)

Can I come live with you?

i cannot believe i haven't eaten a peach all summer. i must!!! tomorrow. it's happening.

that sounds like the perfect breffy.

We were just talking about how finally the peaches and nectarines are juicy and full of flavor - not so earlier in the season. I'm going to pull out some of my old recipes. Now is the time!! You have captured all their fuzzy peach-i-ness!!

@patty: now is the time! enjoy them!

@jen t: it really is.

@kerri: you go! enjoy!

@kelly: of course! bring the pup(s) - atlas might like a friend.

@josiane: it really does. i'm so glad i discovered this. :)

so special and natural ..peaches are nature sweet one

Yum. That sounds delicious, Elizabeth, and so self-nurturing. Like you've given yourself permission to be fabulous and worth the small extravagances. (I heartily approve. You are worth it!)

Loving the beautiful simplicity of the shot...

Slightly decadent = pure joy

I love it!
