the pet parade, that is, hosted by the lovely elk. join the fun, won't you!
do you know what the difference is between atlas and a "real" puppy? when i try to take a photo of a puppy, the body is never still. when i try to take a photo of atlas, his head is never still. apparently he has grown immune to my "atlas! atlas! atlas!" because his head almost never turns toward me when i have the camera, as you can see from the photos.

Timmy has the same affliction! Well, whether Atlas is looking at the camera or not, he's still very photogenic!

Oh, that's it? I thought mine were Amish and thought I was stealing their souls every time I photographed them!
He certainly is a good-looking dog!

Simple solution - hold a piece of dog treat at the bridge of your nose and say "watch me". Of course you might have to practice that without the camera first. Courtesy of PetSmart dog training class. =) Atlas is such a handsome guy, whether he is looking at the camera or not.

Heehee! I am going to attempt to take some pictures of Hurley today...hopefully I will have some luck on my side. His family says he loves to pose for cameras...I'm not so sure..I think he is going to want to eat the camera the way he likes to eat everything else!
