Elizabeth, I love that you take pictures like this! When I was in Vancouver this past winter, I took pictures of rocks along a shoreline. My mom thought I was a bit addled. :-)

REALLY love these two -- I have a weakness for overall pattern and texture in a photo and these are two gorgeous examples.
