It always cracked me up when my dogs ate grass -- that weird chomping and licking of chops. I love this close-up on Atlas.

@maryann: oh yes, the chomping and licking. so funny. i wish i could find out why they eat it!
@tracy: indeed they do. definitely when their tummy is not feeling well. often on hikes (i suspect for water). and then there are a few times of the year when atlas eats it like it's going out of style.
