Oh, I thing you were definitely the lucky on, Elizabeth! :o) Not all see the beauty in the weeds... Happy Days ((HUGS))

hahaha. he doesn't get it, obviously.

i love that you have chosen one word for the year. i've done that in the past. my last word was contentment. hi elizabeth, i was gone for about 2 years and i'm so glad you're still "beautifully blogging!" seeing you and atlas again is like feeling a warm welcome. my beloved zeke died a few months ago and i'm still devastated. may never get over it. he was and is my heart. and i know you understand. he was my black and white "benjie" lookalike. not to write a book here but could you darken the tiny print a little? or is it my 65 yr old eyes!!! can barely see the archives! trust you to stay your beautiful self. thank you for being you.

Little did he know that you had.

Aw, that's too bad! If he's a regular jogger, I'll bet he passes beautiful things every day without noticing them. I hope that when he jogs by that spot next time, he'll remember that you were photographing grasses and look to see what's there now. Glad you noticed!

It's interesting what people notice, isn't it? I went to the arboretum with my mom on Saturday. I forgot my camera, but she remembered hers. It was interesting looking at the pictures she took. Very different than what I was noticing and wanted pictures of!

ha ha i know i get some of the funniest looks when i am laying on the ground or squeezing into some tiny place to get a snap of something. i really think most people just don't see things like we do when we are armed with our cameras

That is a funny story. I can picture your face as he jogged on.

@tracy: definitely their loss. then again, if i had to clear weeds from my garden, it might be a different story. ;)

@jen: :)

@tammy: hello, hello! i am so sorry to hear about zeke. i do understand. and the light print is definitely not you. this particular design uses grey for links. very hard on the eyes. someday i might remember my html and be able to rewrite the code and change it. :)

@jerry: yes.

@sherron: isn't it so interesting to see what we all take pictures of?! i love it.

@a box of chocolates: i can just picture it. giggling away. because i do it too.

@brooke: it was funny. :)

coming here i have found something too!

What a shame. People need to open their eyes!

It's so very you to notice the beauty in everything.
