i could spend my entire summer wandering around the farmers' market and never ever grow bored. i do so love food. (even though i must confess that i am often better at buying things like jams and pestos and giant bottles of honey because they say atlas on them and sweet treats than i am at buying fruits and vegetables.)

YUM!! Is there anything better than fresh local produce in the summertime? I like the jams and compotes too. :)

oh lordy girl! you missed your career... photographing food!!! not all can capture the beauty and freshness that you have. amazing! should you ever want to make necessary funds on the side, that would be a fun way to go!
makes me want to go eat a healthy salad. :)
addendum... given the sheer art of your photography on an everyday basis... maybe food would eventually get boring? lol.

Nom nom nom. That's what my camera is full of in the summer -- hundreds of market photos. Last week, we had some lettuce that was actually grown here in Brooklyn. It was SO GOOD. Tender and delicate and crispy; oh my!

The lighting is so beautiful. And possible vintage effect? Gorgeous! I wish I was there. We could walk the market together. :)

these photos are delicious. roaming the summer farmers markets has become a favorite pastime for us ~ early before the crowds. artichokes are the favorite catch of the day around here. :)
