these pictures have the same dreamy distant look that one might find in an old book of poetry in the library... with that slightly musty cool smell of autumn leaves.

You have totally captured the fall feel. And I do think there is an element of TRUST as you watch the seasons inevitably change.... our changes are undoubtedly less dramatic than yours, but to the observant eye, they are definitely there and I love seeing it!

I do have a place like this and visited it over Thanksgiving and fell in love with the changing terrain and how the shedding leaves revealed hidden trails and glimpses of a winding creek that I had forgotten all about.
